2nd Set of Interviews
Interviewer: How do you feel towards the acoustic version of ‘I need your love’?
Interviewee:
I prefer it a lot more to the upbeat version as the
lyrics match the tone of the song.
Interviewer:
What do you expect to see in the music video for
this song?
Interviewee:
I expect to see a breakup scene, as she is saying, “I
need your love” which connotes “I need you back”. I also expect to see
memories, as when she’s singing, the lyrics are talking about the past, so I expect
to see a lot of happy memories.
Interviewer:
What settings do you expect to see in the music
video for this song?
Interviewee:
A mixture of indoor and outdoor scenes. Probably with
the outdoor scenes following the theme of nature.
Interviewer:
What sort of characters do you expect to see in the
music video for this song?
Interviewee:
I expect to see a romantic pair and not many other
characters, as I feel they should be secluded, with the music video
concentrating on their love.

I think some people could relate to the lyrics
What kind of storyline would you picture from the song?
Somewhere where loads of people are having a party and it's like upbeat.
Yeah like maybe try and keep a smile on your face after something bad happens.
Yeah, just happy.
Would you like a closed, open of multi-strand narrative?
Closed.
What kind of character do you expect from the music video?
A boy and a girl.
-------
A boy and a girl as main characters and extras partying.
What kind of location would you expect to see?
Either a beach or a field.
A festival in a field, yeah, so like they're partying.
Yeah, like a big area.
Conclusion:
From this, we felt that we got little information concerning our music video. We provided them with the wrong version of the song, affecting the information they gave us. However, we did feel that we gathered information from the third question as they were all very certain to have a closed narrative. Also, they were certain on us having a male and a female as the lead characters, which we will use in our final music video.

Moodboard for final video
As a group we have decided to complete a mood-board to track our initial thoughts in regards to the music video. Within this mood-board there are themes of 'love', 'death', 'music' and 'seclusion', which are vital ideas that we want to keep in mind when filming the video.
By creating the mood-board we have a reliable source that we can refer back to whenever necessary. All of these ideas have been inferred by our song choice, the analysis of the video and also the lyrics.
